Food, Inc. (2008)
One of those shows that you watch and just say ” Oh man, I have to change things” and then you are driven to make sure everyone you know watches it. Excellent marketing. Sales by word of mouth via Guilt. You know that there is very little you can do to achieve the goals that the video leaves you knowing you should shoot for. So to ease your guilt (as the truth settles in) you tell your friends to watch that show. In the end, the people who made that low budget hunk of junk with very little proof. (yes they show swollen fat chickens, but do they show them getting shot up? no) Makes a million off of 10g worth of effort.
It’s labeled as a documentary but really, it’s as much of a documentary as the real world. Deep down inside we all know that the the reality tv shows are at the least slightly scripted. I watch this all I saw was dollar signs.
” beef you can’t say anything bad about beef” what a loud of crap… Vegans have been bashing beef for many years. Oh know, the Meat farmer Mafia. I have to say that I dismiss everything in that show.
That movie made feel like my frontal lobe was melting. Yes we all know that there are steroids in our foods. (not mentioning what type, don’t want the chicken noodle soup mafia getting me). Everyone knows this. We all also know that the food being processed is allowed specific amounts of garbage before it is considered unsafe.
The guy recording a cow eating a lump of what ever while the birds picked at it. Who says that isn’t set up? I mean do you believe Chris Angel junk? You know that things are set up for drama and suspense.
Look if you have trouble with the way things are done, don’t show the world this big choreographed collage of junk and sell it. Hit each issue one by one. and get it all taken care of properly.
Oh and Cheese burger mafia.

I give this show a 3/10 . It has some facts , seems a little swayed and a lot is far fetched
