Quiet all weekend. It was spooky. Birds actually flying around, able to hear people two streets over arguing.

Rumor is they merged with Delta and are about to move to Chicago. The rumor is that all employees are to move to Chicago.

It appears they have already routed take off and landing to other locations such as Hobby, or Dallas. There is no say as to what will happened to all of the car rental places and hotels and the like in the area that are built for convenience and ease of access to the airport. Although they do claim that more jobs will br brought to Houston by this merger. How is unclear.

United is also rumored to have signed the contract to take over the facilities.
