BP Leak Solution

There is a better fix for the BP oil Spill.

They are dropping rocks 5000 feet down to try and fill a hole with oil shooting out of it. Get real. Why is it that no one has consider stuffing a skinnier pipe into the open pipe and at least getting some of the oil detoured from pouring out into the ocean? They can then fit their “top kill” blob of mud and concrete around the pipe and just let it drop right over the remaining exposed area.

The whole idea of just dropping stuff on the hole and somehow filling it with concrete is ridiculous. Do you know how concrete works? Water is a part of it. Drying up is another. Learn how concrete works. This idea will hemorrhage. Sure it will look fine on top. but slowly leak out contaminants in every direction, poisoning the ocean floor for ever. We will see no signs of it for a long while. Hundreds of years after we are dead they will be accustomed to the “Old earth blunder”. They will talk of how no one did anything but left one company in charge of the issue. They will talk of how we were so lazy and self focused we pointed the finger and said ” YOU SCREWED UP NOW FIX IT” as apposed to get up and do something. The way it should be is ” you messed up, so you are cut off. Let us fix it and now you go away.”. I am not against BP. I just think they screwed up with no solution to solve the issue before hand. They never once said” ermm what do we do if the pipe breaks at the bottom of the ocean 5000 feet down” before they drilled that far down. So it would only be right to say ‘ Yeah you are off the project of repair, but it will come out of your pocket”

They need to quit worrying about how to clean up the oil they may save by doing this and just do this because this greedy method of “plug the hole and drain from elsewhere” is way to long to be safe for the ecosystem.
Simply put, Shove a pipe in the  other pipe wrap something around new pipe, let it drop. Wrap something less rubbery and much heavier around new pipe, drop it down the outer edge of the pipe. Other end of pipe has hose on it  running into a container. This would do exactly what they want to do, and it will increase accuracy.
