Expendables 2010

Man Movie.

I really want to leave it there but let’s do the whole thing.

There have actually been quite a few movies over the years named “The Expendables” . But this one is awesome.

Everybody’s heroes all smashed into one movie. Well Minus Clint Eastwood, Chuck Norris , Bill Goldberg, Jackie Chan, Vin Diesel, The Rock or a couple others that seem to slip my mind.

The shot gun that Hale Caesar was firing off, every first person shooter game out there should have this dang thing.

This movie lacked plot and background story. Which is what every movie these days has. This movie was all about MAN MOVIE. There is no long explanation and drawn out sob story and happy ending. This “Blow STUFF UP AND GTFO” movie was everything it could be. But to milk it for what it fits today, Stalone could sell the story off and let someone else fill in the blank spots. Like……  What ever came of Mr Church?

I mean as the guy I am, with the movies I grew up on, you understood, somethings in life just do not get fulfilled. Be happy you saved the girl, got extra glory in everything else you stopped at the same time, and go on with your life.

What did Trench mean by ” Let’s do lunch” or what ever ? There is a deleted scene? Why was there any animosity already developed between the two? Then again, as men, we know not to ask another dude what all that stuff means. You don’t want to hear no one’s long stupid story, and you don’t want to hear any blubbering over bridges burned and friends lost.

I have a feeling this movie could do a prequel or what ever they call those flash back as a part two. And then final wrap up current in the third episode.

No Mushy love scene, no current foul material. No gangster thug wanna be. No long sissy story. No over the edge extreme shocking you more than the last movie foul language.

Just blow stuff up and get the job done and kick some butt.

I give this movie in it’s current state

9/10
