Rick Perry’s Strong Ad

Word for word break down of What Rick Perry says in his “strong” ad, just below the video.

I’m Not Ashamed To admit that I’m a Christian
but you don’t need to be in the pew every Sunday to know that there’s something wrong in this country
When gays can serve openly in the military
but our kids can’t openly celebrate Christmas
    or pray in school
    as president
I’ll end Obama’s War on religion
and I’ll fight against liberal attacks on our religious heritage
    Faith Made America Strong
Now it can make her strong again
I’m Rick Perry and I approve this message.

Now, here, let me explain this for the bunch who just want to bash and flame and criticize everything someone says.
I’m Not Ashamed To admit that I’m a Christian
As he shouldn’t be. No one should be ashamed to admit anything. It sounds like he is calling out a certain someone who has not stated their belief.
but you don’t need to be in the pew every Sunday to know that there’s something wrong in this country
This is a simple fact. Everyone knows that something is wrong here. We all see it. and it’s not the citizens. There are some crooked politicians and leaders.
When gays can serve openly in the military, but our kids can’t openly celebrate Christmas or pray in school
Ok. Slow down. don’t jump swinging just because a straight man says “gay” in a way you are not comfortable with.
Look at this, we are so evolved that we finally have gay people in the military living out their dream, somehow at the same time as that was smoothing out, we lost the right to celebrate Christmas in School. You do understand that the reason he doesn’t speak out on other religious holidays there are so many variations, so he sticks to the one he knows really well.

as president, I’ll end Obama’s War on religion
As you notice, or may not notice. but you should. Religious does not mean Christian. Religious is just someone who believes in a god, a creator, a maker. Or what ever each religion calls the “super being”. If you support your religion, then you are religious. We should have the freedom of religion is what he is saying and he believe we are all, no matter what religion, we are all losing our religious rights
and I’ll fight against liberal attacks on our religious heritage
Again, just because he says he is a Christian, does not say that he is only talking to Christians, about Christians. He is talking to everyone about everyone.
    Faith Made America Strong.
Faith is a belief and a hope. It is no religion, or superstition. It’s taking your best option and knowing it will work out, as long as you do you part and attend.
Now it can make her strong again.
I’m Rick Perry and I approve this message.

You people are being a mass of bullies. This is the exact reason that we do not allow lynch mobs. Because you are all being rude. Not looking at what he said, but what you want it to mean.

Now.. Now that you are chewing your keyboard ready to attack me. and cuss me out. Let’s speak about my beliefs and who I might actually vote for. Just as Rick Perry says that he isn’t afraid to admit that he is a Christian I to am not afraid to admit that I am a very religious person. but what exactly my religion is, is none of your business. If you feel I should tell you, then you are exactly what Rick was talking about.
    My political belief
Newt Gingrich – I don’t trust anyone that looks like he will come on my tv after the infomercials end, trying to sell me a napkin that gets me into heaven. Sorry no evangelistic president for me
Jimmy McMillan looks exactly like some Mythical lunatic that could be played by Samuel Jackson look at him closely, the guy looks like a nut. no thanks
Tom Miller I think I bought my first car from him. no thanks.
Obama LOL. nah… I’m good. I don’t want to go through this any longer.
Andy Martin Not enough story to him. No thanks
Rick Perry Was worthless in Texas, No thanks.
Mitt Romney Would easily rent us out to the British. Or star in the new version of “Hart to Hart“.
Ron Paul I don’t trust him, may be too good to be true, but…. better than the other options. at least he came off addressing real issues. Looks like the dad on Frasier.
The rest are kind of worthless to talk about, but be certain we will get stuck with the worst of them.
