Brewingz of Humble Texas – Review

**Update** I followed up with a dine in review for Brewingz Humble.

Brewingz Bar and Grill on FM 1960/Cypress creek parkway Near 59 in Humble Texas

Brewingz HumbleI can’t remember what the wing place was called that was originally in that location, but from what the little girl (must have been 15-16 years old) that was working the front desk said, the place is about 3 months old since the new owner. Odd enough, all of the girls working there seemed to be way too young to be serving alcohol. I remember now it was called Wings N More I had been wanting to stop in there since I first noticed the wings place had changed it’s sign since yet still offered wings. So I pulled in.

The manager seemed to have a strange angry look on his face the whole time. As if he over employed his location expecting it to have as much business as the last wings/bar place that was there.
The little girl/waitress started to show me the menu but I had found it already. I flipped to the page I needed and found a 24 wings deal and said that would be what I wanted. The girl brought the wings to me after I had waited a few minutes and opened the box to show me the content. I was in such a hurry to get home and finally get the wings I have been wanting to try for months, that I aimed my face at them but didn’t even focus. I assumed the looks mean nothing, and taste means the most. I did look to see if there is plenty of sauce. I looked back and said “You know, I want to eat these here”.
The next thing that happened should have been a huge red flag. The girl got a worried look and she looked at her co-worker, who also had a worried look. So as a guy trying to save face and save her some stress from what I assumed was a rude manager, I said “Nevermind I want to go watch tv and install a few things I just bought”. Stupid move. When I got home from my 7 minutes drive…
This is what was in the box.

I think I got a gum infection from these.. The meat splintered and grease squeezed out. There was no buffalo wing flavor in these wings at all. In fact on my way home the smell in my car scared me. I smelled what smelled like old fry grease from some poorly ran fastfood place. When I got home to eat the buffalo wings, one strip of meat I broke off the wings, actually stabbed me in the dead center of the roof of my mouth. The sauce wasn’t even sauce. It was red grease. Texture was that of driftwood. The taste was nothing remotely close to buffalo wings. I sincerely believe I got wings from three days earlier. Cooked and recooked/microwaved/rewarmed

If you are hoping this place is like Wings N More. It is not. Not even remotely close.

I will be going back to take a second review. This time I will dine in. Just in case the Manager thought since I was leaving it would be hard to turn them back in. because if I get wings like this on the next test, this garbage will go back. and I will get a refund.
