Remodeling Ideas
Just got a home and it’s brand new. So everything in this new house, is plain and bland. I have yet to have hung any pictures on the wall. simply because I don’t want to put any holes in the sheet-rock.
In the design phases of my house, I requested to leave out the wall that divides the living room and the dining room. I also left out the fireplace. End plan is to put in an electric fireplace that can be moved around the house like a space heater, but still be designed to look like a fireplace.
Along with the fireplace issue, the knobs and sinks are just as bland and simple as can be. So the goal is to replace the chrome stuff with polished steal, and to paint the beige walls to white. all of the light switches and electrical outlets will stay plastic. somethings in a House that deal with electricity, should never be metal. I still need to find some with some character though.
The lack of grass and excess of poisonous spiders (since it’s a new neighborhood) is bothersome. Wolf spiders, Black widows and brown recluse . Nothing to joke about.
