I must say I haven't seen this trend much, but it sounds ridiculous. However, some men "fashion" I have seen has made me cringe when I think of what will be available/acceptable when my daughters begin dating (you know, 25 years from now).

First, if you are old enough to drink legally, you are too old for the thin line of beard that goes along the jaw up to the sideburns. You are not a Backstreet Boy and this isn't the 90's anymore.

Don't turn your hat backwards and wear sunglasses.

If you have a 32 inch waist, stop wearing 40 inch waist pants and letting them sag as to show off your new boxes (that I don't want to see).

Similarly, if you are a size 40 inch waist, accept it. Stop sliding them down to your knees while your belly hangs over the top and still insist you are a 32" waist like you were in high school 20 years ago.

Make up is for GIRLS. Period.

Bily Ray Cyrus killed the mullet a long time ago, there's a reason it died.

Wife beaters suck. Beating your wife can get you killed in public - the same should be said for WEARING a wife beater in public.

Short shorts are for skinny girls and 80's exercise videos - you are neither. Please don't wear them.

Wear your toupe if it makes you feel good.

People flock to people of a like mind and habit. Dress accordingly.

Comment on Dating – How I Detect a Bad Woman by Alisha

How to detect a bad guy quickly:

1. He discloses he has Herpes on the first date and expects you to smile politely and endure. He probably didn't expect her to get up, pay the bill for both of them and plainly say, "I don't date guys with STIs yet alone who didn't disclose it before we ever went out," and then leave.

2. He whines about his ex-wife on the first date and how unfair it is he has to pay child support.

3. He asks you to take off your high heels when getting into his new Porsche because it wears the carpet down.

4. He immediately begins discussing "the woman of today" and insists that it's okay that women get their own doors, pay their own tab, and can have sex when they want. Yep. Seriously. On the first freakin' date no less.

5. He uses a roofie.

6. He has to blow-start his car after the date is over.

7. He discusses his favorite brand of condoms before he ever orders his drink.

8. His breathe stinks like an ashtray and he opens his mouth wide enough to engulf your head at the first kiss (and last).

9. He talks about how his kids need a mother who is willing to stay home to take care of them while he works (looking for the live-in nanny because it's cheaper than paying for one).

10. He lets the woman drive his beautiful 67 Vette and drive it like she stole it 2 hours after meeting her. Any man (or woman) with a shiny red 67 Stingray should have enough self respect to not allow such a travesty - and if not, at least respect the car.

Oh yes...I am going to build on this and throw it on my blog. LOL Reflecting on a busy dating life is always fun!

Worse than all that, Comcast is apparently in cahoots with the download trolls, the shyster lawyers who rig schemes to extort thousands of dollars from innocent individuals whose IP numbers they happen to find, steal, or purchase. When they have your IP, they then trace it back to Comcast who dutifully gives them all your personal information, so that the lawyers can take you to federal court on some bogus charge -- usually having to do with dirty videos, because in our screwed up society, people would rather settle claims for $5,000 than be associated with an alleged, not even real crime having to do with dirty videos. If Comcast didn't go along with the lawyers and refused to give up your personal IP, this extortion racket would grind to a halt. Other ISPs refuse. Comcast alone doesn't. It makes a small fortune doing IP look-ups and charging the lawyers for the service of providing them with your personal information. You want to know how much Comcast cares for its customers? Not a plugged nickel. Not even a penny, unless it's going into Comcast's pocket. A lower-class operation I've yet to experience.
