Texas Law Enforcement My 2 cents
This is not about Texas State Troopers alone, This is about all forms of Law enforcement in Texas. That’s right, all of you !.
These are simple honest facts that you guys have got to hear, from an honest guy who needs to be heard. I have those rights, right?
You ready? Take your hand off your gun and read this.
Just the Facts.
I don’t have a clue what the heck is going on and who in the heck is doing the selecting, but you guys need help. Who in the blue heck is picking out the designs of your vehicles? Harris County sheriff, your vehicles look way to fruity for the respect you deserve. What is with this gold Italics crap going along the side of your car? Are we so Politically correct focused that we feel the need to make our cop cars look so damn fruity? Don’t laugh Shenandoah police, if you open one door on your car, it looks like you are either about to hand out bags of ice or selling Ice cream. on that note, if half the word for “police” is ice, do not put the door jam on the word “Ice”.
You want to look like you have cajones? make your car look like Humble police. Nothing flashy, nothing gold, no pretty blue, just two toned and says “POLICE” in bold. If that car does not scream “yeah, your ticket is going to fund what ever we want and your taxes will buy the car”, then I dunno you at all. that damn car is intimidating.
Which is quite similar to the Oak Ridge police vehicle. Plain and scary.
The Fancy
Solid Black Police car with a set of numbers on the door maybe a small badge below the door handle 8″x10″, a badge on the front of the car on the front nose cone 3″x4″ and the back just below the trunk lock about 5″x”7″. Who cares what the numbers mean, that crap is scary. Lights on top are a must, but the ones in the grill, freak everyone out. I think it’s the knowledge that if he is so close to your back end that you can no longer see the front ones, yeah, he wants you to pull over, and he ain’t happy. Pit Maneuver bars on the front say that you are not the one to joke with, or take time pulling over for. With all of the compliance efforts Flowmasters has made to meet Emissions laws and warranty standards, and the low cost compared to factory, how scary that would be, yeah it’s a good idea to consider them.
Now, the real stuff.
Everyone says you guys run in twos. but every-time I see one of you guys out camping along the road way, I see that everyone slows down until they get far enough away from you they think you can’t see them anymore. This I usually estimate to be about 15-27 seconds after they pass you (at about 45 mph) and then bam, they resume doing 10 over the speed limit at the least. 20-30 seconds after the camped out cop, is where the guy with the radar gun should be. And every time you pull someone over make sure that you let them know that the first cop was there to remind them what the speed limit is you are the one that was there to catch the smart %^%^%es. When people drive past that first officer and see you down the road with a dude pulled over, you will remind them that you guys travel in packs.
Now the Cool stuff
I think it would be right if you guys got stuff, like a bonus for the officer that hands out the most tickets that do not get dismissed. In my childhood, I knew at least three women who got tickets every fricken week, and got every single ticket in their life dismissed. All three of those ladies have rear ended more than one car in their life. Hey bumper scuffs happen, but twice in a year??? They clearly took nothing serious. Our system is botched! what kind of law enforcement is that? Now the gifts or prizes or bonus should be something like a $200 Starbucks card every quarter. Just a regular gift certificate that you can use on the clock, off the clock, give to your daughter or son, or wife or husband. You know, something that makes the public say “well they wouldn’t write crooked tickets for that!”.
How about some tickets to the tailgaters ? Not the people who have parties on the back of a truck. I mean the people who ride butts in the far right lane. The people trying to force the people who do the speed limit, to speed. and maybe a ticket or two for the moron who drives the fast lane, passing lane at the same speed as everyone in every other lane? Can we please keep the left lane clear? Maybe we will have less people swerving in and out of lanes like they just watched fast and the furious.
Can we give a ticket or two to the retard who is stopping at the redlight and getting deep into a cool text message or phone call and letting 6 cars pass them when the light turns green, before they even take their foot off the brake? And yes the guy who is holding his brakes while he drives and dipping constantly around both edges of his lane, yeah, he is texting. Can we make this a pretty hefty fine?
Now I am not out to alter the world or the way we all think. I just want to make us all think. I want this to go back to kids being scared of cops and not talking trash to police or any disrespect to police, I want the law enforcement to be what I remember them to be. Respectable, tough and scary. And yes you have to be scary. It’s just a fact. If people don’t sweat when they get pulled over, they won’t worry about you at all.

Chad Holley Houston Police Video
I have my opinion and I have to say that I am glad it wasn't me. A lot of that looked like it hurt. Chad Holley man will go down in history as a young man who had someone looking over him.
Mandatory Breathalyzer Tests
A few states in the United States have mandatory breathalyzer tests. They call this system “A No Refusal policy”. They tell us that we do not have a right to drive, but we have a privilege to drive.
No, we have a right to do anything that anyone else is doing. It is a privileged to our police and law enforcement agencies to drive. The legal system does not make the residents. The residents make the legal system. Try taking cars from every citizen and see how well the taxes get paid, see how great the funding is for the legal system. It would crumble, and the police would be horseback or bicycle. Then again, the numbers would be quite low and only backed by volunteers. The people. The citizens.
The driving requirements are met by taking a test. That driving test was created to reduce the number of driving morons. The test did not exist before the automobile. So no we are not being given a treat for passing a driving test. We have voted in specific requirements as conflicts have risen. We did this to reduce property damage and bodily harm. We did not create the standards and laws of driving and then say “hmmm how can we use this, maybe combustion, yeah maybe we will make automatic wagons……” . Our legal system was created by us for us. Otherwise we are living under the ruling of an evil king and we are in their property. We are not property of a ruler. The ruler is appointed by us, with the idea that this leader will make a good selection of standards.
My genetic code is one thing I want private. I do not think it should be legal for a law enforcement to decide it to be okay to sample my blood. Any judge who thinks it should be okay to sample my blood because I refuse to blow into a breathalyzer, should by all means be removed from his duty as decision maker. He then should be offered a job in a communist country at the same pay rate as what he is currently making.
Our legal system is created to protect the right of the innocent. Not to impede on the rights of innocent citizens.
If you say ” If you are innocent then you have nothing to hide” . You are pre-judging that person as being guilty and hiding something. When in fact our law states that a person is innocent until proven guilty. Robbing that person of a right to try and prove them guilty, should be a crime.
If a person is forced to take a test to prove them guilty, for every right taken away that person should be compensated. lf You want my blood? My most Valuable possession? buddy, you better pay me. and this compensation should be high.
How about increase the penalty of DWI. Not penalize the Innocent into giving up their rights. Would it not be illegal to force people to take a polygraph before they enter a shopping center or a gas station to prevent them from shop lifting or robbing the location? It would take too long to just shop, right? Even if it’s a five minute test (this is a pun on the time they say takes to do the blood test) I don’t want to give away five minutes I will never get back. Sure we know the blood test takes “only five minutes” but how about the trip there? How about the paper work? How about the wait in line?
This places police in a designated location and unable to assist in tragedy or disasters or any attacks or assaults by real criminals. This keeps the police from being in large numbers to prevent issues that are building. This is unfair and unjust. This is a communistic measure to force innocent people to notice that the law enforcement agencies are trying to prevent something. But this does not resolve the issue of people driving intoxicated. Picture this. Imagine if this is a busy street. How many innocent people are delayed for the potential arrest of one intoxicated driver? Do we not understand what an unexpected delay causes people to drive like? Do we not know how road rage happens? do we not understand how one bad moment can influence a chain of events? See the funny thing is, if a person left the Nazi road blocks, angry, and cuts someone off and that person was nowhere near the road block, now he is angry and he cuts someone off and they all die in a fiery crash. There is no proof or record to show this event took place.
If anyone wants to add to this, please feel free to comment below.
