Chevy Dealer in Spring tx

They give you some little pager thing. And leave you outside in the humidity  and heat.

Car was on lift  and then 20 minutes later the car was no where to be seen.

Got tire rotation, oil change and 27 point check up. 1.5 hours total and I was back on teh road. Service center did what was offered.  I just freak out when my second most valuable possession vanishes.

I did however get time to walk the lot and look at the cars. The 2012 Camaro with the ground effects package and the Chevy Volt.

News Weather Rant

Okay rant time.

Watching the news I notice that the weather portion has gotten way far out of control.

We have advanced so far in how we detect and monitor weather changes. Yet the  weather guy has become more and more vague.

Phrases like ” but that could change” and “feels like” are being used so often it’s almost as if the person who writes their lines is told to say each one a specific amount of times and then decorate it with a light version of the weather.

Look if I want to know what “it feels like” I would just step outside. When I am out in public and someone says ” My gahhh it feels like” blah blah blah. That number never matches what the weather man says. so where does the weather man get that “feels like” number???? They do it all freaking year long. They do it in the winter to make it sound worse than it is. They do it in the summer to make it sound hotter than it is. They do it in the spring to make it feel nicer than it is.

So where does the weather guy get that stupid fictional number from ? Do they have a thermometer that has a “not really” temperature on it? Why ?

We all know the weather can change any second. It’s the dang weather. Tell me is it hot? is there wind? are there any clouds? What channel of wind is headed my way that could change what is currently over me ?

Just tell the dang weather. Tell the facts about the weather.

I’m just watching the local news to get the local weather. Why is there so much filler in there?

Well. It kinda feels like I was told the weather.
